Product family design adaptation
The Medistim medical system was adapted to fit better visually with the SONOWAND product family.
Also a medium series product, the design of the Medistim cardiovascular monitor was upgraded while minimizing production changes and investment.
By replacing covers and adding a new monitor design, a better function and updated aesthetics was accomplished.
Based on a previous design and with requirements from an existing production line, the new covers and monitor was designed with as much aesthetic development as possible within the restrictions.
During development I was responsible for industrial design and production surfaces.
Replacing key features: The main features that could be replaced easily were the outer covers, monitor and monitor mount.
These were redesigned to have features familiar with existing SONOWAND products.
