Board for water and winter sports
Right after school I joined a startup company developing the Oxyride Allboard. It’s an exiting product that has steering abilities on both snow and water by shifting weight, and incorporates a cushioning system for rough and speedy rides.
The board was designed by testing foam model iterations, finding out what geometry would give the desired feel and function.
Finally, the shape was recreated in CAD using a 3D point scanner, production surfaces made and pilot series made in vacuum formed plastic.
While part of the startup, I was primarily responsible for production surfaces and manufacturing prototypes.
